We LOVE that Crush delivers to our home in Church Hill as we are so limited in options.

Super fast delivery from a hot dude in a Corvette??? How do I get my pizza to show up in a Lamborghini??
I got two gyros and a smoothie delivered in 30 minutes at 5pm on a weeknight. The prices were fair for what we received and the Church Hill smoothie was amazing. I'm secretly hoping Crush finds some late night hours and feeds my inner drunken appetite!

I always get the lentil soup when I'm sick, it is good. I have tried most of the juices and I like most of them except the really sweet one. I love the tabbouleh. I really love that they deliver to Manchester, and delivery is alway freaky fast. I haven't had anything from here that I haven't liked.

For a so called juice bar, that smoothie sure didn't seem like it was all fresh fruit. Although maybe a little overpriced it wasn't bad, it just wasn't great. The menu looked pretty awesome, so I will surely go back and give these guys another shot as its hard to find parking at the other chain smoothie locations in the area.

I am very happy that Crush reopened. The new management has expanded the menu to include great Mediterranean/Middle Eastern classics. While continuing to make the healthy smoothies that they are known for.

Without a doubt Crush serves the best hummus you can get in Richmond. Their hummus is home made which is proven by its thick creamy texture. You can tell the chickpeas are hand crushed and not machine blended like 99% of hummus in the US (including Sabra) is. I have travelled a good deal across the Middle East and I am usually reluctant to try hummus in the US because it just isn't hummus. But this place makes the cut. A first for me in Richmond. Their homemade tabouli is also great.

Only draw back is that I do not believe that their pita is homemade.

However, I highly recommend this place to anyone who like authentic food & fresh ingredients.

Haven't been to Crush in over a year. Stopped in today because my daughter wanted to go. Not much has changed, customer service is still great, restaurant itself still gives off a dark, dank vibe, BUT fruit smoothies are still just as good. So if you decide to have a Crush, make sure you fall in love with The Churchill, absolute best option here, and when you're done stop by my yelp page... I would love to hear if this is a match made in smoothie heaven for you as well. Happy Food (and smoothie) Hunting!

I got the Cary town and the church hill. I was disappointed because it didn't come with the fresh fruit on the top as pictured on Yelp.

I also waited WAY too long for two smoothies. About 20-25 minutes.

However the smoothies were refreshing and yummy. Hope they pick up on the speed and presentation when I come back!

This place is cute. Vibrant colors and beautiful art work adorn the walls, but it could use a good cleaning! I am not sure how i feel about the smoothies being made behind the curtain. Kinda suspect. I also don't think I would ever eat anything out of the refrigerators either.

Service was a little slow, but the final product was beautiful. The smoothie presentation was the best part of our visit. The smoothie itself was pretty good, not great, but good. The prices were a little steep, about $6 for a small and about $8 for a large. But it was refreshing and a good meal replacement. We both ordered the Churchill which was orange juice, mango, pineapple and strawberries.

I was very excited to try this place, especially with many of the raving reviews on Yelp. Unfortunately, there wasn't anything special about the fruit smoothies I tried and they tasted like ones that I could make at home. I think they have stopped topping the smoothies with fresh fruit and I was pretty disappointed when they handed me my order. Though the wife was really sweet, at $6+ per smoothie, I can't see myself returning for their drinks.

Came here for take out dinner with a friend this past week. Got the falafel sandwich, stuffed grape leaves, baklava and the Churchill smoothie. It was all excellent!! I ate the entire sandwich cause it was just that good. Had the grape leaves the next day and they were also very good. Smoothie was very large and filling. The baklava was made with cream filling instead of the traditional way I'm used to. I prefer the traditional but that's just me.

I'm sure I'll be back before my internship in the city ends! Great to support a locally owned restaurant with great food!

Will have to check back. Very friendly. They are looking for a notch to be the best. I vote they make it. Try it out

You're in Shockoe Bottom. It's a hot and humid day and you want something refreshing, cold, and delicious. Look no further than CRUSH!

I presume the owner was the nice gentleman sitting out on the porch reading the newspaper when we approached his business. He was friendly, rang us up and we made some small talk. The shop was small but bright on the inside and reflected his fruity smoothie concoctions. Me and my gf got the Church hill smoothie: orange juice, mango, pineapple and strawberries
with some cut up fruit on top: watermelon, apple, and pineapple.

There was no running A/C going when we came, only a couple of fans strategically placed throughout.. it wasn't terribly hot but we did want to escape the heat of that day. The smoothie came out in under 5 minutes and was brought to our table which I appreciated. The smoothie tasted pretty good, none of that powder stuff that some places may use. I think the best part of it was that they actually had real slices of fruit on top that you could enjoy.

Overall, solid spot for a smoothie and I would come again if I was in the area for something refreshing.

Great original smoothies. They name the smoothies after different neighborhoods in Richmond. They use fresh fruit and not powders. Good price! Better than other smoothie places.

Crush has great smoothies that are all named after RVA neighborhoods. Can't wait to go back and try their juice menu, and their newly updated food menu! They just reopened under new management and now offer lots of Mediterranean food options and are going to start delivering next week.

I came in on a hot, summer day in search of something refreshing enough to rehydrate me after long day in the sun. Crush exceeded my expectations!

The stress buster juice was on point. Was a stressed? Not even a little bit - but it was a perfect blend of ingredients for me.

My boyfriend and I were in the mood of getting a smoothie and naturally suggested tropical smoothie. I on the other hand, wanted to try something new. I looked through yelp and saw that it had pretty good ratings and decided to try it out.

The place had cool, funky colors on the walls and was very clean. The owner was a very kind man and very welcoming. We ordered the Manchester and the carrytown. Both were amazing! It definitely had a very healthy taste to it---so different from the intensely sweet smoothies that you would get from tropical smoothie. Also the presentation of these smoothies was beyond satisfying. Fruits were linked on my straw and granola bits were in my smoothie. Very fun.

I didn't try any of the food but the menu definitely made me want to come back for more!

The first time I ordered from here, everything was fine. But today I ordered the lamb gyros and the cheese mouajanat. The gyro was PATHETIC. A few slices of lamb and shredded lettuce on a pita. It had no tomatoes (the menu lists them as included) nor did it have any onions or other items to make it anymore more than dry meat on a pita. On top of that, it took well over an hour for delivery so everything was cold by the time I got it. I won't be ordering from here again.

I stopped by there because my blender doesn't work so well anymore. As someone who made healthy smoothies on a regular basis while it was functioning, I expected at least the same richness of flavor that I got at home. For a $7 smoothie it was SUPER watered down, and what flavor was there was rather uncompelling. Service wasn't stellar either. I gave an extra star for the slightly above average steak and egg sandwich, but it's not worth coming back for.

I work downtown, and crush is on Grubhub (which makes it incredibly easy to order in a meeting), meaning I was bound to try it at some point. I had a Shockoe Bottom smoothie, a chicken shawarma with tahini sauce, and a baklava. The smoothie is cold, creamy and delish. No artificial after-taste at all. The chicken shawarma is incredible, juicy chicken in a soft wrap, perfect balance of sauce baklava was pretty good too! Delivery was quick and inexpensive.

It's great to find a place that makes chai from actual leaves and not a sugar-saturated powder mix. DELICOUS chai tea latte infused with chamomile.

Absolutely delicious!!! Highly recommend anyone to grab a bite at Crush. They have smoothies and delicious Mediterranean dishes for great prices! Everything tastes fresh and home made. Can't go wrong with the shakshuka!
