Zorba's Pizza reviews

I'm adding a star to my earlier review. New owners have renovated the interior and exterior and updated the menu. They still make great pizza with fresh ingredients, but the pasta dishes are now outstanding. My wife is addicted to the vodka penne, and I'm a fan of the baked

Prices online through online ordering did not match the prices from the store! but the manager called us to let us know he would have to change our order's prices. we got a spaghetti and meatballs, add mushrooms and a lasagna. The food arrived with side salads with greek dressing and garlic knots. A lot of food for very little money. the sauce for both was way too sweet for my liking- very close to an adult portion of spagetti-o's, but that could be good if you like that kind of thing. delivery was fast, and the food arrived hot. I would try the pizza next. I worked here as a youth, so i knew what to expect, the new owners are very true to tom (the dirty old ex-owner)'s recipes and style. a good neighborhood joint with inexpensive fare.

I have had pick up and delivery from Zorba's. Their food is better than average but nothing jaw dropping. The delivery took a little over an hour to arrive.

We have had:
- Grilled Chicken Salad: The chicken was really good; perfectly cooked. The salad had a good variety of toppings.
- Buffalo Chicken Sub- Not a bad sub. Has Bleu Cheese and Bacon on it.
- Tortellini (meat)- Had a nice spice to it. Cooked well.

Over all a solid place to eat.

I just moved to the neighborhood and found this gem. Great crust and classic Greek/New York style.
I had my pie in 35 minutes, exactly as quoted.

My friends and I were trying to head out for dinner after a failed attempt at Christmas lights at Lewis Ginter. Dot's Back Inn was slammed so we walked next door and this place was completely empty, which usually is a bad sign in my opinion. Don't judge this book by the cover! The pizza is amazing and cooked well from crust to center. The garlic knots were complementary while we waited for our pizza outside. Both the owner and his staff were really friendly and knowledgeable. I'm assuming most of their business is delivery since the inside isn't full of people. I only wish they were closer to my house since they beat out my local pizza joint by leaps and bounds.

Zorba's makes a fine NY style pizza. Best delivery on the North Side.

Been trying a lot of different pizza places and this is in my top 5. I love the fact they put a lot of toppings on the pizza. It is never dry or burnt. The two owners are really nice and do most of the work and sometimes the delivery themselves. They occasionally throw in some garlic knots which are a nice treat. The place is really small so we get takeout or delivery.

Ok , I was on here looking for something else other than Pizza Hut. This place popped up I thought why not try them out. The food is delicious. The Alfredo pasta with chicken and broccoli was a delightful creation of perfection in an aluminum container. The pasta also came with garlic knots and a salad. Wonderful! The steak and cheese sandwich was seasoned to perfection. Today I have found myself and my family a new dining experience and it was, magnificent !!!!!! until next order

We tried to return to The Mill this past weekend, but it was packed, so we walked on down to Zorba's. It's a small hole in the wall place that, as other Yelpers have mentioned, is more suited to carryout than dine-in.

The owner is this sweet older man who seemed overjoyed to have us as customers. I ordered a cheese pizza with light sauce and my boyfriend got the meat ravioli. When his salad came out the owner also brought the most amazing rolls - hot, oily, and garlicky. I was a little apprehensive when he brought my pizza, there seemed to be a lot of sauce on it, and I really hate red sauce. Much to my surprise it was actually pretty tasty! Not tasty enough that I'd want any more than was already on there, but tasty enough that I didn't embarrass my boyfriend by scraping it off with my fork and napkin :)

I hadn't ordered from here since they switched ownership, but tried it out last night and it was amazing! Best pizza I've had in a long time.

The delivery took forever due to some kind of miscommunication on their end with the driver but they were sincerely apologetic and offered to make up for it on our next order. You might want to pick up instead just to be sure. (The only reason why I didn't give that fifth star)

As an added plus, we used the "order now" feature through Yelp and paid by credit card through the mobile app. Pretty convenient!

Surprised this place isn't rated higher! I moved to Northside a couple months ago, and this is by far the best delivery place. I've ordered from them a few times - pizza, salads, calamari - all really, really good! And those garlic knots - OMG. I see other reviews knocking them for long delivery times, but they've never taken more than an hour for me, even on Friday night. Anyway, worth the wait, and the food is always delivered hot! So much better than the other options nearby

Love the Pizza and the 2for 1 spaghetti special, feeds a houseful, with salads and garlic rolls, is great and I cant cook it better! saves money!

Zorba's is a solid neighborhood pizza joint, and especially great for a last minute fix.

It's more of a take-out kind of place in my opinion, although they do have a few tables if you can't wait until you get home to dig in. They sell by the pies or by the slice, and last time I stopped in, they cooked up a fresh pie so I could get my slices. It only took a little over 10 minutes, and then I had super fresh, hot out of the oven slices to enjoy at home. Cheese with pineapple is my typical pizza order, and Zorba's doesn't skimp on the pineapple! I'm also a big fan of their crust.

They deliver within a certain radius, but I'm more of a pick-up person. Pretty sure it's cash only, too, so make sure to bring some paper.

A NORTHSIDE GEM! Located in Bellevue's famous MacArthur /Bellevue community district next door to well-known Dot's Back Inn, you can get a hot, gooey NY-style pizza pie quickly and served with a smile! Nice menu selection with pizza, salads, pasta and subs; delivery and good pricing too. My pepperoni and ricotta cheese pizza was deeeelish! It was generously topped with the creamy ricotta. The dining area is small so I'm sure their take out/delivery is their business staple. Give Zorba's Express a try if you haven't already.

Ordered delivery and it came exact at my requested time. Not my favorite pizza in Richmond, but would be willing to try another dish

The reason for the 1 star rating is the horrific delivery side of this delivery business. In the 3 delivery experiences we had the food has ranged from good to great. The delivery service has averaged 1 hour and 15 minutes. Unacceptable for a location 3 miles away, but what makes matters considerably worse is the total lack of communication on Zorba's part. When we communicated our unhappiness, the only response was excuses. Too bad. We're done here.

Don't let the exterior fool you- this food is great! Pickup food is always fast and hot. Subs are great! Gyro is so-so; I've had better and I've had worse. The spaghetti, however, is some of the best I've ever had. I'd put it up against any other Italian restaurant in town. I had it with meatballs and mushrooms- DELISH! Sauce is perfectly balanced between savory/ sweet... too much one way or the other can ruin it for me. I haven't tried the pizza yet, but it's gotta be as good as the rest of the menu. All in all, you can't really go wrong.

Good pizza at an average price. Good New York style pizza, and having a picky brother he approved of the pizza as well!

AH-MAZING! We love, love, love Zorbas!!! Our norm is a pepperoni pizza with extra cheese and we are almost never disappointed!!! Our friends who housesit for us are always happy to do it because they know they'll get to order Zorbas!

I love this pizza, great tasting! when I asked the obvious greek man taking my order "thats all?" in reference to the price. He said "what do you think we are pizza hut?"
Try the White pizza with tomatoes. OMG good.
